Course Description

Research has shown that students with ADD/ADHD can achieve greater success when their teachers understand their challenges better and offer relevant support. The goal of this course is to provide classroom educators like you with the knowledge, understanding, and methodologies needed to empower students with ADD/ADHD and help them succeed. This course will help you:

  • Understand symptoms and behavioral indicators of ADD/ADHD.
  • Identify students who may have these disorders.
  • Prevent and manage behavioral problems.
  • Use more strategies that support student success.

Credit Approval Information

While you should always follow any pre-approval requirements in your district, we help educators across the country earn advancement on their district’s salary scale and meet their relicensing needs. This course has been pre-approved by the Texas Education Agency, and graduate-level credit is offered through Colorado State University – Pueblo.
