Course Description

A memorable presentation or lecture or story can transform lives and minds, but a boring one will literally put an audience to sleep. Public speaking is notoriously difficult, and as a teacher it’s something that you have to do nearly everyday. The goal of this course is to provide classroom educators like you with the knowledge, understanding, and methodologies needed to make you a more confident, engaging, and inspiring presenter, so you capture the full attention of your students too. This course will help you:

  • Craft better presentations.
  • Prioritize your message and intention.
  • Tell stories that emotionally connect.
  • Use humor to engage students.
  • Read your audience.
  • Be a more confident public speaker.
  • Create an environment that motivates students.
