Course Description

“For twenty years, my research has shown that the view you adopt of yourself profoundly affects the way you lead your life.” – Carol Dweck

Growth Mindset is a popular buzzword in academic culture today, but what is it really, and how can it help you and your students? The goal of this course is to provide classroom educators like you with the knowledge, understanding, and methodologies needed to empower students to overcome adversity and succeed in the classroom and beyond. This course will help you:

  • Understand growth and fixed mindsets and why they matter.
  • Identify the mindset of your students and your school.
  • Empower your students to reframe challenges, obstacles, effort and criticism.
